The Power Optimization
Program™
A Program Engineered for Definitive Leadership Growth
The Power Optimization Program™ is a one-on-one,
confidential development program engineered to
trigger rapid leadership growth. It provides clients a sophisticated,
in-depth and precise understanding of their personalities and related
tools for translating that understanding into greatly heightened interpersonal
effectiveness. Based on the Four Powers System™, the Program provides
skills upgrades and mastery in each of the Four Powers domains of Intellect,
Passion, Emotion and Inspiration.
Not Just Executive Coaching
The Power Optimization Program™ includes the
standard elements of a conventional coaching
program—but goes far beyond just that. In its depth of content
and in its precision and logic, it provides an
eight-month experience that is intensive yet
exhilarating in the success it fosters.
First Module—Investigation of Strengths
and Obstacles
The Program unfolds over three modules. The first program module is the Investigation (assessment) phase. Here, we collect crucial information by:
- Interviewing the leader with whom we are working and identifying goals and career vision;
- Collecting 360-degree, multi-rater
feedback from peers, managers, direct reports
and others by means of the Quadrapotent Leadership Survey™; and
- Administering and collecting data from carefully selected, sophisticated psychological assessment tools that are only available to licensed psychologists.
The collected body of data is rich in content. It provides the fuel for the self-understanding that is key to effective and sustained behavioral change.

Module
Deliverable: A confidential
6 to 8 page Power Optimization Program Report™ that provides
a comprehensive and precise map to the client for understanding
his or her personality. It identifies both key strengths and
core obstacles to greater success.

Second Module—Gaining
Insight
The second module is the Insight (integration) phase. At this stage, the new possibilities raised in the Report catalyze the leadership transformation process. This module consists of two private two-hour meetings between the consultant and client during which the following occurs:
- The client gains an in-depth, precise
understanding of his or her personality based on the Power Optimization
Program Report™.
- The client is also provided a Four
Powers Diagnosis™.
- The client's central personality themes
are identified—neutral characteristics
which appear as strengths or key obstacles
depending on how well they are managed.
- The client is provided multiple toolsets for optimally managing his or her personality and maximizing interpersonal effectiveness.
- Each tool, derived from the Four Powers
System™, is engineered for logical precision,
high impact and easy application.

Module Deliverable: A
highly personalized Power Optimization
Roadmap™ that specifies the client’s development goals and
the means of achieving them.

Third Module—Transformation
The third and final module is the Implementation (transformation) phase. This is the most rewarding module because it is here that the developmental possibilities become realities and significant results are achieved. During this phase:
- The client implements the tools provided and otherwise adjusts his or her actions to get maximum results.
- The consultant meets with the client
regularly over a period of six months
to:
- Calibrate the tools to ensure optimal impact; and
- Provide strategic and tactical support to the client in successfully meeting the many challenges encountered in leadership transformation.
- Results are achieved and documented.

Module Deliverable: Substantial
improvement in those leadership
behaviors identified in the Power
Optimization Roadmap™, as documented in a supplemental, 360-degree
Quadrapotent Leadership Survey™ completed within the final two months
of the Program.
